Patti and Jeff @ Heinz Chapel and Oakmont Country Club

Patti and Joe tied the knot in a solemn religious ceremony at Heinz Chapel in Oakland, then celebrated at their elegant wedding reception at Oakmont Country Club. They opted for sunset portraits on the golf course, which were beautiful! I photographed this wedding with Alisa Garin; below are a handful of my favorite images.

If you decide to get married at Heinz Chapel, there is always the option to do bridal party and bridal portraits on the lawn just outside the Cathedral of Learning, and the popular Mellon Building (with tall columns above building-width stairs) is just across the street. With an open mind, we could do pictures ANYWHERE really- some of my favorite shots were taken on the rooftop of a parking garage! (really should post those on the blog, too!) The important thing is that you take time to enjoy each others’ company and let me work some magic for a bit… so we can get you back to the party ASAP!
